Slightly Excessive is a small studio in Atlanta. We design and 3D print useful everyday objects, the kind of things you reach for without thinking, and then we think about them far longer than anyone asked us to.
A hook that holds twice what it needs to. A cable clip with tolerances measured in fractions of a millimeter. A desk organizer that went through more revisions than some cars. None of this was strictly necessary. We did it anyway.
Everything is designed in house, printed in house, and tested on our own desks before it ever reaches yours. If something we make lets you down, we want to hear about it, mostly so we can fix it and partly so we can overbuild the replacement.
The catalog is small for now. It grows at the speed of careful work, which is to say slowly, with an unreasonable number of prototypes.
